MEMBERSHIP TERMS

1) If a registered member cannot attend a meeting, they should arrange for a representative to attend in their place. If a member fails to attend regularly CWIB reserve the right to review and revoke their membership. A leave of absence is possible in certain circumstances and should be discussed with CWIB Head Office.

2)Each member must represent the profession that is either their main business or is a substantial part of their business activity.  Only one activity can be represented at the meeting - if a member wishes to represent other areas of their business, other than the original one listed on their application form, they need to get permission from CWIB Head Office.

3) Membership fees are payable annually, by cheque, cash or credit card/debit card via PayPal. The initial fee for the first year includes a joining fee that is payable only once in the life of the membership, as long as the annual membership is paid by the renewal due date.

4) Renewal notices will be sent out approximately one month before the renewal is due and payment must be received by the renewal date in order for the membership to continue. If payment it is not received within 30 days of the renewal date, the membership will cease.

5) A larger company may join multiple groups. Each group joined must correlate geographically to the business location or the area that business is being sort after. In the event of one company joining more than one group each application must be submitted separately and a corporate membership can be discussed. The member nominated by the company must be able to support their chosen group with referrals and contacts.

6) In the event that a member wants to terminate their membership, whatever the reason, the fees are not refundable. In the unlikely case of membership being terminated by CWIB for whatever reason, the fees are not refundable.

8) In the unlikely event of conflict or complaint, please contact CWIB Head Office directly who will make every effort to resolve the problem. CWIB reserves the right to judge each case separately and any decision will not be considered a precedent.

9)As a member of CWIB and for a subsequent 3 year period after membership has ceased, you will not set up a similar christian women's or any other business networking organisation from the 'know how' gained by attending CWIB meetings, to compete with CWIB.

10) CWIB cannot be held responsible for any business or personal issues, meetings or contracts entered into between members or visitors following an introduction at any of our meetings.
